Has anyone here had the mini gastric bypass, and Im talking about the Mini(laparoscopic)Gastric Bypass and if so how was your experience? Does anyone have any other alternatives for a 35 yr. old mom of 4 that has exhausted herself dieting and cant move well to excersize until she sheds some of this weight. Please refrain from the usual jokes at my expense. Thanks.

I have been seeing a psychologist for about 4 months now and I honestly think I am worse then I was before I went. I have always lacked self-confidence. I am very shy. I am not doing so well in college as far as grades, no matter how many countless hours I spend in the library. I wonder if I might possibly have a learning disability. During the 4 months of seeing my psychologist, I realized how much I dont like myself. She seems to think that I am doing much better but I'm not the kind of person who shares everything that is on my mind... even to my psyc. I feel like I'm so lost and worthless. I have never ever considered suicide because I couldnt do that to my family. I live each day with this mask of happiness but the sadness inside hurts so much. I want to be happy, do well in college and mean something. I feel like a failure. Please help.

have a slipped disc and the physio has said that acupuncture is the next step forward. slightly scared because i'm not sure what the theory behind it is and not sure whether it will work. no fear of needles though so that's 1 less worry! anyone no anything about how it works or had any experiences with acupuncture?

I have a problem with dry skin on my face. First of all, I think it comes from havign to wash my face so much because I am prone to breakouts. The dryness is the worst around my nose and chin area. I scrub and scrub but I can never seem to get the dry skin off. So whenever I wear foundation you can see peeling really bad. I have to be careful what face lotion I use because of the breakouts. I am kind of Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Any answers will be much appreciated.

How do I become super flexible? I want to be able to lifet my legs over my head, do back-bends, etc. I used to be able to do all those things with no problem. Now it's hard just to touch my toes. I do have a desk job... How do I get that flexibility back?

I realize that this is a site for people to get advice from many different sources, but I don't understand why some people with only vague dental knowledge or no dental knowledge, are on here giving dental advice. That would be like me getting on the section about vehicles and telling people what is wrong with their cars. I wouldn't have a clue and would be giving bad advice. I have seen some dental advice on here that is so off the mark, that it is almost funny. I don't know if some people are making up what they are telling people or they are repeating something they heard somewhere. There are alot of people getting on here and asking questions, really looking for good, solid dental advice and they don't know what to believe when they are getting so many different opinions. I have seen people give totally wrong advice to someone, and yet they get voted Best Answer, when someone else actually gave them a more accurate answer. Why are people giving such bad dental advice?

In my sinuses it keeps feeling like when you get water up your nose and it burns so bad it makes my eyes water and I get a bit disoriented. It comes and goes like every 5-10 minutes. What over the counter medicine can i take to stop this?
