I get sore throats in the morning sometimes too. I just usually drink a glass of cold water and it goes away in a little bit. I think it's just your throat being dry. I love my morning water.

A cheapest and very effective medicine is some luck-warm water and tea-spoon of salt. Gogol in the morning and before bed time. I'm sure this will help.

Try a humidifier. Heaters dry the air. If that doesn't work, see a doctor.

Go to the doctors to get it checked. You could just have a cold and a dry throat.

BUT! If you're sexually active you could have an STD in your throat from oral.
