There is a lot more money in treating cancer than in curing cancer. Every major hospital has a cancer ward. What would happen to these hospitals if a cure for cancer was discovered? What if drug companies could no longer sell chemotherapy or radiation drugs? Other illnesses fall into this category too. Countless millions have been raised for muscular dystrophy but still there is no cure. What would happen to all the clinics if a cure was discovered? Same with MS, Parkinson's, heart disease, diabetes, etc.

Ok i am a 20 year old that has to wear adult diapers 24/7!! nothing will change that they said!! but all the brands out here have a plastic like backing and the rustle, make loud sounds while i am walking and stuff and its embarissing!! do yall know of any thing cloth like disposible??? i know that it is wierd to put this on here but yall are my last resort!!!

My BF has had neuralgia for the last 5 days and has been in agony, the Doctor gave him painkillers but they were useless. He went back and was prescribed Amitriptyline.

Whilst he has had some slight relief from the spasms he is still getting them on a regular basis and wakes in the night (when he sleeps) in terrible pain...does this drug take long to work? - only had a few days.

Is there anything else we can try to relieve the symptoms (no wisecracks please) he has never suffered like this before.

Your help appreciated

I was mopping the kitchen floor and fell on my butt, I was 17 years old at the time. I noticed a couple of months later that i had some round small bumps on my back by the hipline just above the butt. I don't know what they are and they don't hurt but i still have them. You can't see them but they are there when you touch them i can feel them. And my back started to hurt after i fell. when i lie flat on my carpet my hip hurts so much that I have fainted because of the pain and could not walk for a whole day. that has happened to me two times in the past nine years. I have not gone to the Doctor because I don't want to get operated and have to stay at the hospital for a long time I have kids at home and they are small. I think I might of torn that bone tissue that helps the bone move that is between the bones. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO YOU? AND WHAT DID YOU DO OR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? DID YOU ALSO GET THOSE BUMPS I WAS TALKING ABOUT THAT I GOT? PLEASE HELP ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS.

which should be a reason to work harder, but I am not. I am in sales and make 100-150k per year, however this year has been a bad year and I have made only about 70k, and much of it is gone. The baby is coming in end of year or early next year.

I need my drive and motivation back, I am trying vitamins but they are not helping me. The doctor gave me lexapro to control my anxiety and nervousness, zelnorm for my stomach problems, and a high cholesterol pill, but I have not started any of them, this was about 2 months ago, should I start the treatment. What will lexapro do for me? will it worsen my symptoms or make them better?

Please help, I know I can do much better, but it seems like someone put a spell on me. I might be bipolar, because all of a sudden I feel motivated and the next minute I dont. What is a good medication? My bosses have noticed this pattern in me, and dont mind because of course since I am in sales I am my own boss.

I have a potential employer that will be doing a drug screen by swabing the inside of my mouth. I've never heard this before, I always thought you had to pee in cup for a urinalyisis. Is this accurate? or are they testing for something else and calling it a drug screening? I don't do any drugs so that is not a problem.
