I think I have Strep Throat and/or the flu. Most possibly strep throat.

I have had a sore throat, fever, and painful tonsils for the last 3 days.

Today I woke up and found out that my uvula was twice its normal size! It is hanging so low that it rests on my tounge, which kind of makes me feel like vomiting. An ideas on how to attempt to cure this???

Is the enlargment of my uvula due to my strep throat/flu symptoms? For the past couple of nights I have been breathing through my mouth when I sleep (I wake up, having a dry throat). Any idea on how long this will last?

My best friend wants to get pregnant. She has been with her boyfriend for 4yrs and doesnt use any kind of protection. She is 27yrs old, 5ft tall and weighs 210lbs...She is a big girl for her height. She has a lil boy and he is 8yrs old she got pregnant very quickly with him. She hasnt had a pap like in 2yrs. Everytime i suggest getting on a diet or going to the Dr.'s she kinda get irritated with me. Also he periods are kinda weird. And i swear she thinks she is pregnant like every month. Someone told me it could possibly be polyovarian syndrom or something like that. I dont know what to tell her anymore...anyone know what this could be?

I find notes in her room, jurnol, e-mails, i've talked to her about this and even took her for help. All she does is sit and stare at the shrink. We are making no progress. I am afraid to leave her alone and even more scared to fall asleep at night. I find myself doing a patrol at all hours. Between myself and her brother we are getting no sleep because we take turns watching her. What to do. I work two jobs and can't be there all the time. I am on the verge of losing one job because I have to keep leaving when she won't pick up the phone. I have even hired a sitter to monitor her. I really need some help here.

So im on a diet and I aim to eat about 1200 calories a day. But everytime I read a nutrition label I become confused because experts say to watch your calorie intake but what about sodiom or sugar? and starches?? I mean a food can be low in calories but high in everything else so it doesnt help weight loss at all. I'm so confused!

I ran out of medication and since my mother died didn't have time to send in my mail in script... I called the doc and asked if I could stop by and pick up some samples... She said yes, stop in anytime. I went by her office, she didn't have a client and so she waved me to come into her office to get the samples... Since she knew my mom died we visited for a few minutes. I thought that was a nice gesture.... But, I found out later she charged my insurance company for a visit. I do not feel this was right.... What do you think?

I have a problem. My erection curves up till it almost touches my stomack. Sounds nice, but it can hurt when bent straight out. Is there any things phsyc or otherwise that will change my rection direction?
