Try using the Color diet, which is very simple to remember, do not eat anything that is the color white or anything that contains anything white in it's preparation or anything white that has had any color added to it such as butter or cheese. Examples of white foods are sugar, flour, potato, butter, lard....
Do eat lots of highly colored foods, greens, reds, yellow, orange, purple, blue. This diet worked for me without counting calories, it's healthy and it's fun.

I have lost 15 pounds eating those 100 calorie snack packs and healtly choice, lean cuisine meals, just simple grab and go foods, I log my calories in my planner-works great and weekends I splurge-not excessively but doing it slow keeps it off.
