It's all mind over matter if you ask me. It's an anti depressant that is supposed to balance out your moods, like keep you from feeling so depressed. I don't believe everyone needs medication for that though, you just have to learn how to think positive, and have a good outlook on life, instead of always thinking everything sucks.

For some people it is an anti depressent...but it can have many side effects...i tried it with out success...it made me very jumpy and extream excessive thirst. i know it can also mess up your sex drive. I switched to zoloft and have done very well with it for a year now.

It is supposed to cut anxiety by reducing the amount of uptake from seratonin.

One side effect is that it can also suppress the libido

To me, it clears my mind. I always have so many things on mind that I can't even focus on my daily life.
