I'm curious. I work a lot with nail guns, and I've been reading some scary stories of nail gun accidents. One was a man who accidently shot himself in the forehead with his nail gun. He lived to tell about it with no complications!! So how long does a nail have to be to reach your brain if accidentally shot into your forehead?
Does it have to be a long nail.
I'm thinking of wearing a helmet.

I was dismissed from my doc today as his patient. I am diabetic, have neuropathy going on in my leg and have medcines Lyrica and Xodol, yet no dibetic meds to treat the cause. Whre can I can these meds? Can my eye doc do it?

i had sex with my boyfriend in june and not long into it, i kept telling him to stop. i told him he was hurting me and to stop. i was trying to push him off and i was even crying. he wouldn't stop. he didn't stop he was ready to stop. i never thought of it as rape until tonight when i went to a mandatory sex thing for college. they said that most of the time girls don't know that they are being raped. is this one of those times? i'm so confused and really freaked out right now.

I've tried everything suggested to raise my HDL level (diet, exercise, avoiding trans fats, etc), and my HDL level is still too low and has been for at least 15 years. The dr. wants me to take prescription medcation, but I don't want the side effects. Some have suggested Policosanol/Gugulipid or no-flush Niacin. Is one better than the other? I am currently trying Policosanol/Gugulipid but have not been taking it long enough to have my cholesterol rechecked. I 've read this formula works, and I've read that it does NOT work. Has anyone had success with a natural remedy to raise their HDL level?

I think that my child is just bored. She is very smart and completes all of her work. However she don't listen to the teacher sometimes and fiddles with her crayons and pencils. She plays during reading time and the teacher has to get on to her multiple times during the day. i have fobromyalgia and i was in a car accident today it was just a small one but the seat belt hit me right on the shoulder and we were going about 30 when we hit the other car so it hurts really bad and i was wondering .......................... is it normal for people with fibro to be more vulnerable to injury and would u go to the emergency room?

Lately my rectum has been hurting and burning a bit on and off and when I go to the bathroom it hurts sometimes. Also when I wipe theirs always a little bit of blood on the tissue. I don't even have to go to the bathroom and there will be blood on the tissue if I wipe there. also it looks like there is a lump there but im not sure. im really worried. I don't think its a hemmroid because most of the time i dont feel it there and it doesn't itch. what could this be?

Ever since I had my baby 5 mnths ago I haven't had a normal bowel movment. They are huge and hard. My anus rips open ever time and I bleed for hours. It's very painful and I'm afraid of infection. I've been taking stool softeners and they don't seem to be helping. I can't see a doctor because I don't have health insurance. Is there anything I can tke or eat?? I'm nursing my baby so I don't want to take anything that could make him sick...
