My most recent Dr. visit he was slightly concerned b/c I'm 26 and have been on 1.0mg Xanax daily for 2 years now. He offered Remeron(sp?) as a possibility, but still refilled my X Rx. I do suffer from aniexity eacha nd every day, it runs in my family, Father, Grandfather, etc,etc. Serious answers only please-this is serious matter for me.

I've been going to the gym for about 3 weeks, when I use the tread mill, it has a ideal heart rate of 118-126 for weight loss. If I stay in this range, I don't necessarily break a serious sweat. I actually need to crank up to about 130+ to get a sweat going.

Also, I'm just speed walking in the weight loss range.....

FYI- I burn -300-600 calories depending on what weight routine I'm doing for the day.

Lost 15 pounds so far....

know i asked this question earlier but i forgot to ask how much pain are you in afterwards? like is it painful to walk in close-toes shoes...is it very unpleasing to the eye? Novacain also doesnt work with my body well, are there any other no pain options or should i just wait to talk to the doc about that?...please read below if you dont know what im talking about

here for the past few weeks ive had a toe infection that i couldnt heal on my own so i finally went to the doctors yesterday for antibiotics...they also told me it was caused by an ingrown toenail...they want to go in and lift up the nail and cut part of the root thats causing the problem...i was told that part of nail will never grow back and wont cause anymore pain...has anyone had this done, and if so did it work?

Is there any other ways to treat chronic lower back pain which is caused by constant muscle contractions on the lower left part of the back?

Have tried almost everything like:

Pilates
Accupuncture
Osteopathy
Chiropractor
Strong sleeping pills
General exercise

Not sure if the pain is curable, but if there are any other ways to make the pain more bearable would help to strenghen or stop the muscles from contracting?!

When I was on my vacation, I was able to do it 10 times in 2 days straight. Or 3 times in 2 hours.

Periodically, I get a feeling of heartburn right in the centre of ribs.
It is a pain not a burning sensation.
Sometime it starts at my back and works it way around and sometimes I get pains down one arm.
I haven't noticed a pattern with any particular foods. It go as quickly as it starts as well.
Sometimes I feel like a need to do a huge burp, but when I do it still doesn't realieve it!
Should I be worried?

P.s Rennies, Andrews Liver Salts doesn't seem to help

I use electric because razors cut my skin sometimes and electric ones are convenient, but I never have a full clean shave with electric, so just wonder if razors do any better?

I really want to start running regulary but when I tried recently I realised how out of shape I am, I literally ran for couple of hundred meters and couldnt do anymore....Is there a form of excercise I should do first to build up a certain level of fitness or should I just stick with the running?

today i had sever back pain and i have an open university exam but i cannot sit in a chair for 3 hours my back is painful, i am concerned that the university will not let me resit the exam, i really want to do it and have passed all my coursework, they are very strict though and might think it is just normal back pain and not that bad, my doctor has given me a sick note, i am a bit apprehensive about telling them as they may say the problem is not that bad, any suggestions what i should do. I really want to resit the exam to get a good job.

Now I've went to the doc and checked up and she says I'm clean of UTI.But I still have the symptoms.Like foul smell from the penis area,and urine.And sometimes there's an excruciating pain in the uretherus or the lower abdominal area for a few seconds.Although the frequency of uriniation has reduced.I still have the smell.And I don't understand why I have such a disgusting odor after I stop sweating.And if I drink water to stop or cool me down from sweating,I sweat even more.And eventually when it stops ,awful stink takes place.

And the doc has no answers for this and suggests me to go to a higher level hospital for checkup.Unfortunately I don't have the money for that kind of check up.....so any suggestions?

Have virtually stopped drinking alcohol, eat really well, lots of fruit and veg and dont eat fatty foods. But I cant lose weight... if anything im putting it on... im a vegetarian so eat alot of Quorn (low in fat) and salads etc..... What am I doing wrong? Im getting married in nine months and I want to lose two stone, Im not keen on the gym (even though am a member) and dont want a fad diet! Help?
