I think passion is a very strong feeling and with interest or desire
so extreme that much time and effort are needed, a situation I try
to avoid because of many other things to do in life.

I use the word often, and it describes multiple emotions and not all "Passions" are derived from, or driven by the physical.

I explore mine as often as I can, be they physical, emotional, spiritual, metaphysical, metaphorical.

For me it is the "strength" of whatever it is, within our psyche, to "Do" and also to "Be"

On a personal level, Writing, Art, Aldara, (not strictly in that order) are 3 of my most intense passions, and I'd be less than I am without any of the three.

Great ques. I'll give you mine. Passion for me is disregard for criticism, blind faith, loss of sleep rather than time away from this. rules don't apply, tunnelvision, nothing else matters, food does not matter, all that matters is the moment of pure ecstasy you are in, you are thoroughly vulnerable and it's OK, you don't mind dying right here right now, if the passion is a woman, she gets all of my love, all my thoughts, all my time, all that my imagination can give her, every breath I take in, all the pleasure I can give, this without a thought of myself. Just to name a few. ---R
