No. Most people who smoke weed several times a day for years don't have any long term effects. It's not carcinogenic, it's no more addictive than caffine, and it's not particularly toxic. It's considerably safer than alcohol (let alone tabacco). The main reason it's illegal is that it would probably drive the tabacco companies out of business to have a safe alternative to conventional cigarettes.
Incidentally, the only effect on babies if the mother smokes weed during pregnacy is that for the first month of life, they actually are calmer and score higher on tests of cognitive function that babies whose mothers did not smoke weed.

It would have no effect on them later in life. It's not dangerous anyway, the effects are more positive than negative. Weed certainly does not cause cancer or any known diseases, and one or two times is the same as no times, except for having had the experience to know what it's like. The only stigma attached to it is because of illegality, and that was not brought about for any health reasons. It was brought about by the petroleum industry because its possible to run a car on the oil from hemp seed

I haven't seen any research showing irreparable and dangerous effects from smoking marijuana once or twice. I think you have to do it quite a bit more than once or twice.

Health wise? Probalby not, unless you get injured while being stoned.
There is a chance that your pot use will indeed whet your desire to try stronger stuff, and that would be another possible health effect.
If you get caught by the cops? Definitely a life-changing event.

I know many people around my age who have been smoking since they were teenagers. None are unemployed, none have health problems, all are in happy marriages. Unlike other things in this world, pot is safe. In fact it is safer than the air you breath in cities, that stuff does cause long term health problems.
