You can't get insurance with your job, but what does that have to do with getting a prescription? If a site's selling xanax w/o one, it can't be trusted. Plus, xanax is only for very short-term, and withdrawal is almost always worse than the problem itself. If it's social anxiety, you need longer term treatment. Unless you just want xanax, in which case you're either an addict or a dealer.

Paxil is what is more commonly used for social anxiety....I use Xanax because I suffer anxiety and OCD....my anxiety is severe...I have learned that online websites for drugs are not safe because many of these online drug companies are selling counterfit pills and you never actually know what you are getting. Not to mention if you are caught ordering from these sites you could potentially get in trouble for trying to obtain drugs without a prescription. The best way to get it without a prescription is to find a connection to someone who has some....so many people are on it it's not funny....that way is also illegal though as you obviously know....

It is possible you could get the drug company who makes it to help you get the medicine for free. You will need to see a doctor to get the prescription and be diagnosed before you can contact the drug company. The pharmacy can give you the name of the manufacturer and you can contact them and let them know you have no insurance. You would have to fill out paperwork and send it back. If you qualify for assistance they can help cover part of or all of the cost of the medication....

Also depending on what state you are in, you could try to get health coverage through the state depending on how much money you make as well....

Good luck....

No reputable company is going to sell you that stuff online without a prescription. Therefore, any site you do find offering it online will probably be a scam, trying to get your credit card number. You'd have better luck with your local drug dealer, but you'll probably have to pay too much. The best thing you can do is to get your parents to pay for you to have insurance through the county and see a doctor about the anxiety. Self-medicating without a prescription is something that rarely turns out well.

I sure don't. But I do suggest the generic for Klonapin which is Clonazepam, instead. It's cheaper. And the major differences between Xanax and Klonapin are that Xanax works almost instantly to alleviate a panic attack, yet wears off quickly, while Klonapin may take a half hour to kick in it lasts for hours.

I was taking xanax for about a year and it ruined my sex life and made me appear lethargic (several friends told me). It's a downer and probably wont help much with your social anxiety. Try going to borders and getting a self-help book, and do some meditation. Otherwise, you can go to a psych w/out ins. for 75-100 bucks and they may give you a prescription if they feel your conditon will be helped by it. Good luck, I know that can be tough.

I would say you don't need xanax without a doctor's prescription.

get in touch with the pharmaceutical company that manufactures xanax and ask them about their patient assistance program it is a really good program and if you fall into the income limits they will mail you your medicine and at no charge p.s. you will also need a script from your doctor

Getting the prescription isn't that hard, and makes it easier and cheaper to obtain, actually.
