The study was on the possible lasting side effects of chemo and how it might affect the brain (fogg the memory) in women who had undergone chemotherapy for breast cancer.

You can go to google.com/news and do a search on Chemo Brain and get several news articles on the subject.

Personally I am finding I have trouble with names, sometimes I have to look at a co-worker's nameplate to remember who I'm talking too. Or I can be discussing a movie or tv show I just watched and not remember the name of the persons in it. I finished chemo 2 years ago this month for breast cancer.

I am not sure about your question, but if you are talking about feeling like you are in a fog, and can't remember things,it is a side effect of chemo,it is called chemo fog, it will go away after chemo gets out of your system.
