Okay so I woke up this morning and there is a strange sound in my right ear.
Like the noise when you go swimming and get water in your ear and it sounds sort of like a popping noise, but it just continues to make the noise.
Anyways, this has never happened to me just randomly like this. So what do I do?!

Is this normal? Or common?
Or is something wrong with me?

Help pleaseeee.
I'm really afraid I'm losing my hearing or something in that ear.
Ugh, scary.

Latest cold (virus) in England is notable for the sneezing fits it causes. I expect it is highly contagious. Usual stuff on itchy eyes, sore throat (for the first two days) and snot runnig down my throat and waking me up. Best answer would be ideas to relieve the symptoms.

I've got this lump on my neck, it's inside, but it's big enough for me to feel it without having to pressing my fingers down. I've had it for a quite a while. First I ignored it, but now it got worse. The lump's not painful, but sometimes it's difficult for me to breathe. Every morning I wake up and I feels like something's stuck in side my throat. I feel sick and wants to throw up all the time. I told my parents about it, but they said it's nothing to worry about and told me to stop complaining about it. Can someone please help me?

That I have a cracked disc in my neck and 2 prolapsed discs. The odds are not good if they operate, infact it could make things worse, a whole lot worse, What would you do? let them operate and hope for the best, or put up with the pain, its bearable and I can still move around, obviously I have worse days than others. The thought of not being able to move terrifies me, and thats how I may wake up after the op. My friends tell me that any chance is better than none. Thanks to all who answer. xx

I came to Osaka when I was 16 and stayed with a host family for the summer. I couldn't wait to come back. Now I'm 19, in college, in Tokyo. Really feeling the effects of being alone. The kids in the dorm won't talk to me, even when I talk to them. I have to wake up so early to get to school, and it's like an hour commute, and everything's so expensive. Everyone at home is a mess too because one of my friends just past away yesterday. I kinda think I just want a girlfriend or something so that I don't feel so lonely. I could say that I want to go home but really this is the only chance I'm ever going to get to go away for a year. In a year I can become fluent in Japanese, and being home wouldn't be any less lonely or depressing because all my friends are away at college anyway. It's just such a weird feeling. any advice? If you like in Tokyo, I'm desperate enough to just meet up and talk. My japanese isn't very good, but I want to learn, and be out as often as possible.
