I want to get a memory foam mattress. I thought it may help with my back pain, but they're awfully expensive for a big chunk of foam, so i would like to know if they're worth it.

I love mine!! My husband also has back pain and he says he will never sleep on anything else. But shop around for a better price we got ours at Sam's club for 300 bucks. My parents got one from walmart for268. Another friend payed 750 for one at a mattress store. All are the same. Good luck

We have a memory foam mattress topper and they are awesome. There is such a big difference and it is only the topper. It is about 2 1/2 inches thick. It is a less expensive way to try out memory foam. (only 49 bucks for a queen size) We want to get the whole mattress next time we purchase a new mattress.

In January my husband insisted on buying one of these...just a 3 inch topper, and I was firmly against it. I couldn't fathom spending 200 bucks on a three inch piece of foam because I didn't see how it could do any good. HOWEVER, I was dead wrong, and am so thankful he went and bought it anyway! Like I said, we only have a three inch thick memory foam topper, not even the whole mattress, and it has DRAMATICALLY improved my sleep. I don't toss and turn anymore, and I don't have the back pain I used to constantly deal with, it's completely gone. Best $200 bucks we've ever spent! We got one of the higher quality ones, you can get them even cheaper than that.

That will be my next bed! I wanted one when I bought my bed 6 years ago but it was too expensive. They have good support and last at least 20 years. The foam is called latex. They were made in USA some years ago but pollution laws caused manufacturers to stop making them. Now, they know how to make them without polluting, so they're back on the market.

i have the memory foam pillow

i like it 20% of the time - it is very firm in a way and by head is just not loving it most of the time.

before you put out all that cash....it would be great if you could find a way to spend a night or two on one.

I have a temperpedic and it's awesome!!!! My bf always has had back problems, he has not complained since we bought out bed about a year ago. You can feel it stretch your back out at night. It's soft yet supportive. You can feel yourself sink but at the same time it's firm. I would do a commercial!!!
