OK, perhaps I havn't been very clear. I think some of you are under the impression that I'm just trying to get high or something and that is NOT the case. I am experiencing a severe emotional crisis and my healthcare plan only allows me to see a certain doctor. Therefore, because I don't feel good about what I'm already taking I was hoping for some suggestions.

Your health care provider will access your condition and may prescribe medications for your symptoms. If you want to relax, there are a number of methods you can explore,
Often, taking a walk, listening to calming music or a meditative technique will yield a more effective result.
As a society, we have become accustomed to thinking a pill will solve all our ills. This is not correct. As one who has been living with chronic pain for a number of years, I can tell you that medications are put a small part of my striving against my problems. When the medications wear off, all the issues are still there. I wish you the best.

I think unless it is something that happens at least once a day, they really cant prescribe anything. And to get prescribed, I believe they do an extensive screening and have you talk to someone before determining what to give so they find out what is causing you to need to chill out and relax.

Medication is not the answer unless you suffer from a mental condition...otherwise learn to count your blessings.
