I heard that some vitamins counteract synthroid medication if taken too soon. It is a generic brand but I"m sure I am still able to take a vitamin.

I recently started taking xanax to help me sleep because I'm going through a divorce and am very stressed out at night. I'm finding that I am preoccupied because my prescription is running out soon. I only take .25 mg once per night but am feeling like I can't get to sleep without it. Am I headed for addiction? How can I stop taking them? Thanks.

My idea plan is: to eat 3 balanced meals per day, not counting callories but just being sensible about my choices! example

Breakfast: bowl cerial and banana or other piece of fruit

Lunch: Sandwich (lowfat versions of meat cheese )
low fat yougurt

Dinner no counting of calories but just sensible portion &
nothing fried. for example oven fries instead of fried.

Evening Something nice with tea, Slice of cake or few low fat
range cookies.

Exersise: 30 mins walk per day and some hand weights. and extra 30 mins if the evening treat is higher in callories and fat.

Im going to get the 30 mins walk done during my lunch break at work. and the other 30 mins if needed by getting of the train from work to home 30 mins earlier and walking the rest.

I will write here again each week for the next 4 weeks to let you know if I have had success with this plan or not :)

Let me know what you all think of this plan !

I am fully aware that each drug affects an individual different than the next. With that said, surely there are some anti-depressants whose success rates (easing and making life more tolerable for the depressed) are higher than others.

I've taken Lexapro, Effexor, and Wellbutrin.

Lexapro = fatique
Effexor = sexually dysfunctional
Wellbutrin = dry mouth, constipation

I don't know what to do. I am tired of going to my doctor and "bothering" her with my problems. Yeah, it's their job to help me, but I feel as if I'm bothering them.

I have osteoarthritis and am on medication,but this is doing nothing with regard to my hand.Anyone out there taken these tablets and had any satisfactory results?

I worked for 20 years at the same job-took the same 9 mile drive there, went to lunch and shopped at the same places. I decided to retire from there and start cleaning houses fulltime and it has only been a week but I have this horrible anxiety and panic since I am out of my routine. It isn't like I had to do everything the same way everyday-I guess I knew I had to be somewhere on the dot 9-5 and now I have a more relaxed schedule. I feel lost, even though I am pretty busy-not packed with customers but enough to get me started. I thought I was going to have fun since my job got to be so miserable and before I quit I was planning things and just really excited about it. I can barely get in the car and drive anywhere with these panic attacks I am having. Is it all going to blow over when I get into THIS routine?

I fell down hard on both knees on a slope about a year ago. At the time by right knee swelled up and was extremely painful and I had to have the fluid drained. A year later it is still more swollen than the other knee and if I kneel even for a short time ie bathing the dog it hurts. Will I have to have an op on it?
