The opposite of what someone told you in here. If it floats you are getting enough fiber. Your diet can attest to that. As for the flushing, why would you not? It need to be flushed for the next time and cuts down on odor

It's a sign of a good diet that is high in fibre. Keep going, you're doing the right thing.

If you're embarrassed about leaving a floater in the pan, cover it with a little paper shroud. Then the next person will think it was their's.

It simply means that your poo contains too much of unabsorbed fat. Medically it is called steatorrhoea.
Steatorrhea (or steatorrhoea) is the formation of bulky, grey or light colored stools. Stools may also float and have an oily appearance. There is increased fat excretion, which can be objectivated by determining the fecal fat levels. While definitions have not been standardised, fat excretion in faeces in excess of 0.3 (g/kg)/day is considered indicative of steatorrhea.

Seen in:

malabsorption, e.g. in inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and abetalipoproteinemia
exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
chronic pancreatitis
choledocholithiasis (obstruction of the bile duct by a gallstone)
pancreatic cancer (if it obstructs biliary outflow)
primary sclerosing cholangitis
bacterial overgrowth
Short bowel syndrome
Cystic fibrosis

The density of you bowel movement is dependant on what you eat. It's not dangerous to have floaty poo, just flush 2x, or weight it down with the toilet paper after you wipe.

I know a lot about poo and I say a three flusher is bad, but a one or two flusher is nothing to worry about. You should eat lots of sugar though, its lovely. and chocolate too. That'll speed you to the lav without much fuss.

Once I heard that having too much fat in your diet can cause your poo to float, but it doesn't sound like that is your problem. I don't think it's bad, you just have floaty poo!

It's where your getting loads of fibre in your diet it's a good thing but for less embarrasing poo try having more fruit fibre it sinks.

It is very very good. To flush it needs to be helped or maybe you should tighten and relax as you deliver to keep it in manageable flusheable pieces. To avoid embarrassment try to be at home when you go. Be very proud.

Fat can make you poo float.
I had a flatmate though who always had floaters, and she had a low-fat diet, but ate lots of pulses, so maybe they make them float.
Best advice - check after flushing.

Too much helium in your diet. Lay off the whippets. Honestly, I don't know but couldn't resist the cheap joke. I hope it doesn't offend.
