Going to the right doctor is the right thing to do. Solve this mystery with someone who went to medical school There are so many foolish people on this site. you will hear answers from nonsense to garbage. Really....find a GOOD doctor and take care of the issue, once and for all. Your health is at stake. And good luck to you, friend.
I think it may have something to do with endometriosis. I have dealt with that. It is fixable. Your Gyn is the one to speak to .

I hate to say this, but a visit to the doctor is still the best solution for you. Your pain could be more serious than menopause. My friend's mum suffered frequent pain in her abdomen area and she discovered it was fibroid. It was a good thing she went for surgery early. Go visit your doctor to put your mind at rest.

if it is a new symptom and you haven't it before ,yes it can be a sign of approaching to menopause, but it can be a symptom of some diseases too! i don't want to make you worry, so 'm trying to explain! in some women there is a pain at midcycle and that is because ovulation and hormonal peak. but it is changing form one side to another in diffrent month(due to this fact that each ovary{left and right] may ovulate in a random cycles in diffrent monthes). if you have a persistant pain in right side you should check up for ovarian cysts and ...! so don't hesitate to visit a doctor, hating doctors isn't helpful for you.
