If I put a banana in the frig or freezer will it turn black quicker? I'm trying to make banana bread but my bananas are still yellow with some green. This will be my first attempt at home made bread? LOL, hope it turns out well. Also would say 2 large ones make about a 1 cup of mashed? Thanks for help.

I bought my Mother a new cheese board that she wanted for Christmas but I wanted to get her something to go with it. I was thinking Hickory Farms because the cheese seems to stay good for a few days, so I won't be running out Christmas Eve getting Cheese. Has anyone had it before?

Many Thanks :)

I'm still honing my baking skills so don't give me anything too difficult! I'd like to bake some small cakes to have in the house over the Christmas, for guests etc. I want something that will keep for a few days and not dry out. Preferably something chocolatey! Other than that, I have no preference - brownies, buns, pastries, not bothered!!

I want to make raspberry split seconds, but I'm really short on time and I don't want to go to the grocery. I have a powdered sugar cookie mix. Can I make up the dough, put a dent in the center and add jam just like I made the dough? Will this work?

I want to make homemade Salted Nut Rolls (like the candy bar) and I want to use vegan marshmallows (gelatin-free). I searched online for a recipe using them but I had no luck. I want to know if anyone has tried making Salted Nut Rolls this way and if so do you have a recipe to share? If not, does anyone know if this would at least taste good?

My husband is CONSTANTLY ruining our non-stick cookware. He can not get it through his head that he can not use metal utensils with non-stick cookware. It is driving me INSANE!!!

If I get stainless steel will he be able to destroy them?
Also, what are the downfalls of stainless vs. non-stick?
