No I wont be having brussels as its too hot to have a cooked xmas dinner here in Aussie, but when I do have them, I saute them in a frypan with onion and bacon. The best way to eat them.

We have brusselsl sprouts all year long and they are always served with the holiday dinner. Although strong flavoured and not everyone enjoys them, I par boil them with this meal and then roast in the oven with potatoes, carrots, onions & sweet potato. It's traditional at Christmastime. My family only likes them crunchy on the outside if they have been roasted. My in laws prefer them crunchy on the inside as they boil them and serve just slightly underdone. We all have our preferences.
Regardless, there are rarely any leftovers.

I can't stand the smell or taste of them, they stink worse than broccoli. But i know people who think it's not Christmas without them, yet they don't like them, never understood that, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
I don't celebrate Christmas, but i do pig out, and no there will be no Brussel sprouts. PIZZA + CHIPS mmmmmmm
EDIT: See what i mean. (reply above mine)

We will be having sprouts. Christmas dinner (or Sunday dinner) would not be the same without them.

Yes of course! I love them and so does my boyfriend. My four year old brother and my 16 year old and 11 year old sisters all hate brussells!

Having converted to sprouts about 3 years ago, they are now one of my favourite veg! We have them at least once a week when in season. Love the way they sook up the gravy!
