I've never had a taco, are they good, what is in them?

I have strict parents and they never let me eat at F.F Restaraunts. Plus, my mother does not make food like that.

ok, I lied, ive had a taco. i asked the question because i was in the middle of eating a couple of taco's when I asked it.

just thought it would be funny to see what you guys would say, plus i am really f****ing bored.

Tacos are absolutely delicious and they are as different as a sandwich. There are crunchy tacos, where the corn tortilla shell has been fried; there are soft tacos, which can have either flour or corn tortillas warmed on a griddle; and there are these tasty things called sopes, which are like open face tacos made from corn dough or masa. The contents can vary from nasty Taco Bell ground beef drowned in grease and spicy sauce (which is still pretty tasty) to shredded beef slow-cooked with different kinds of salsa, to (my favorite) carne asada, which is flank steak grilled and then chopped up and served with cilantro (a lemony-tasting herb) and chopped onions and more of the ubiquitous salsa. I've also had tacos made with potatos and beef; filled with mashed pinto beans and cheese; topped with shredded cheese, lettuce, and sour cream; and another really tasty entry, filled with either batter-fried or grilled fish and topped with shredded cabbage and a very light white sauce. Tacos are great! Where do you live that you have never sampled the delights of a taco?

Hi there! tacos are great!
not only are they really versaitle to do at home they're great all year round

a taco is a hard shelled food which looks like a semi circle and is folded during the process that its made into a semi-circle like puouch-this is the hard shell

inside it you can put anything in it from mince, salad, sour cream etc but aat a resturant they usually put in the following

Mince-with some sort of bean mixed together
Salad such as: lettuce, onion, tomato
some cheese on top and possibly some sour cream

it really differes between places but generally they are pretty tasty!

why not??? A taco is a flour or corn shell with just about anything you want in it . You can make breakfast ones with eggs and cheese and sauge, or dinner taco's with hamburger cooked in taco seasoning mix, put hamb in taco, place shredded cheddar cheese on top add lettuce tomatoe and chopped onion and last but not least a tablespoon of sour cream. Yum Yum

Taco's are awesome. You can have your choice of ingredients: from beef, chicken, steak, cheese, onions, pico, etc. wrapped in a warm tortilla or hard shell. Oh yeah. I think I'll get some right now

Tacos are delicious, they have hamburger, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes in them and they are put in to a tortilla shell. I like tacos with sour cream in them. hopefully soon you'll be abble to get one.

if you have a choice, get authentic ones, not the taco bell type, they are much much better

beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, chicken, steak, whatever the heck you want in them. if i were you, id go to taco bell and get the grande soft taco. MM so good!
