for dinner we had a mixture of ground beef and pasta noodles and sour cream and a bunch of other stuff (we're university students lol)

anyways we ate it but there were leftovers, we put aluminum foil over it but we went out and its been sitting on the counter for about eight hours. im guessing i should throw it away now right?

thanks

Yes, plz do so. Food that has been left in room temperature (unless its a operating room of a hospital) is expoosed to many bacteria and germs! The recommended time by the FDA that u can leave hot food out is 3 hours. But more than that its gonna give you a nasty stomach ache! Espically since you used meat along with diary.

I would not save it. Right! 8 hours is way too long.

aw...to bad you didn't set it in the frig.Yes...I would throw it out,
mainly because of the sour cream in it.

Remember this.....when in doubt.....throw it out....

A nice rule of thumb to remember.

Toss it. Don't take a chance on poisoning your family with it!
