I'm looking for a good christmas sugar rollout cut out recipe for cookies.. I want them to be a il soft after they sit around because I do not want to bake them and have them turn out hard as a rock, I'm having little kids eat some so I don't want them to be really hard..

Thank you sooo much

i dont actually use one but sometimes i think they might be useful instead of chopping stuff with my knife. i do have a blender which also has the chop and features like that but it's so big i barely ever use it. i saw these food processors for sale at bed bath and beyond for $40 plus 20$ rebate. is that a good price? are they worth it?

I was planning on making snickerdoodles and gingerbread/oatmeal cookies, but I wanted to make the dough tonight and then bake the cookies on Thursday (so about 2 days). Should I refrigerate the dough or freeze it? I wasn't sure if it would get too dry either way.

Obviously boxed fish sticks isn't the best route. But...

Should I buy frozen or unfrozen fish? Should I buy the already cooked fish at the supermarket? What are some tasty fishes I should try? Sometimes Salmon can taste a little too "fishy" for me.

I am looking for a website that will list many different spices/herbs and what to use them in. I have researched several, but they are not exactly what I am looking for. For example: I would like a list that I can print out and tape in my kitchen that says, like, Oregeno is used in Spagetti sauce and Rosemary is used in ??? and Thyme is used in ???? I have a bunch in my pantry and want to use them. Thank you.

Hello All! Need some help...

Tomorrow at work we are having our Christmas luncheon. I need to bring some type of "hot dish" but we dont anywhere to keep things warm. SO - I was trying to find some ideas of something I could bring and keep in the crockpot.

I thought of BBQ weenies or meatballs but there is already going to be a lot of meat; so I dont want to go that route. Any ideas?

Thanks!

My friend just moved out of her house and she can't cook quite well. Therefore, more of the recipes I've given her from some of my cookbooks don't work too well with her.

I guess you can say she has the mentality of pretty much a 7th grader when it comes to cooking.

I'm not looking for recipes for sandwiches, or salads...
something that actually needs a little bit of prep time...
and sort of something you can have for a meal.

She prefers not to use stuff from canned foods, so casseroles from cans please!!

Overall, I guess she needs a recipe even the most basic of cooks can use, while it's filling...
Do any of you guys have any recipes back from you college or high school days?

My office is having a potluck this Thursday and I need some really good recipes for stuff to bring. People are already bringing dessert, fondue, pigs in a blanket, sweedish meatballs, lasagna and chili cheese dip. I am looking for something that is going to blow all these out of the water. I just want to bring something really good that everyone will love. any ideas? There will be about 15 people there.

We are having my parents who are very picky with veggies, they only like your typical, carrots,pee's,brocoli....nothing exotic or too spicey.
