Try putting a dry rub on it (in this order):

meat tenderizer
red pepper
seasoned salt
coarse black pepper
garlic powder

then:

COAT with italian seasoning.

Throw on the hot grill (better w/charcoal but gas grill is OK) for about 45 minutes (or 135F on inside). Should be slightly charred on outside but medium rare on inside. Taste great and real juicy.

Slow Cookers are great for any kind of stew.
Root veggies first (potato, turnip, carrots, etc.).
Then flavouring (celery, onion, leeks, garlic, etc.)
Last meat (beef cubed or ground, chicken pieces, pork, lamb) brown first for more flavour.
Cook on high 2-3 hours, turn from bottom.
Add peas, corn, green beans, last 15-30 minutes.
