I am looking for a website that will list many different spices/herbs and what to use them in. I have researched several, but they are not exactly what I am looking for. For example: I would like a list that I can print out and tape in my kitchen that says, like, Oregeno is used in Spagetti sauce and Rosemary is used in ??? and Thyme is used in ???? I have a bunch in my pantry and want to use them. Thank you.

I would go to your local liberary and check out The Joy of Cooking, or The Professional Chef (both are rather expensive) or other similar cook books that don't just have pretty pictures and recipes, but real information. Both books would have lots of information about the spices you want to use and the cuisines in which they are used. Alternatively, you could go to allrecipes.com and use their ingredients search, type in the spice you want to use and you'll find lots of recipes that use that particular spice.

Good afternoon.I just saw your enterested in spices. I don't have much time now,but i'm sure i'll find for u something about it. I know for sure that oregano goes almost in all foods.Only should be used at the end of cooking,to keep all the smell. I love it with potatoes salad with lemon or vinagre. For all cooking choises at final, exept pizza, that we cook all together.Thyme is very good with lamb & general meet. It's smelly also in a small cup with wine for one hour.
