Really easy version that I think is very good. Brown 1lb of ground beef (season w/ salt, onion, garlic, peper), drain. In a casserole dish mix beef with 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Spinkle cheese on top, then cover with a layer of frozen tater tots. Bake covered at 375 for 30 mins or untill tater tots are done.
You can also add green beans, or peas to the casserole if you like.

The recipe i have been using that my family likes is with eggs, cheese, tater tots, and chopped broccolli. Basically it is about 9 eggs mixed with milk, salt, and pepper. Add 3/4 package shredded cheese (I like cheddar). Stir in broccolli, maybe half of a bag frozen, and tater tots, about an entire bag. Grease a fairly large casserole dish and pour mixture into it. Bake until a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean. Sorry I can't be more exact but try looking on AllRecipes.com and maybe they'll have the exact version.

HAMBURGER & TATER TOT CASSEROLE
Brown 1 lb. ground beef with 2 tablespoons chopped red onion. Spread 1 bag tater tots in rectangle casserole dish. Spread browned beef over tater tots. In a bowl, mix 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of milk. Pour over beef and tater tots. Grate 1 lb. Cheddar cheese and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Use Susan's recipe, BUT add a drained can of green beans before the soup and tater tots. Yum!
