I saw this recipe on foodnetwork it seemed fun and easy so I thought I would try it out. I messed up at the grocery store and bought refrigerated pie crust (the sheets of dough) instead of the frozen puff pastry the recipe called for. Will it be a diaster if i just use the pie crust?

Thank you

My son's 12th bday is this friday and am making huge batch of chili in the crock pot for frito pie...any good and easy ideas for something that would accompany this?
We are having cake, of course.
ALSO...planning on playing Flashlight tag at night. Any other really good games that come to mind for that upper elementary age group? THANKS

Does anyone have a Potato soup recipe with peas and cornstarch? My boyfriends grandmother made it.

It did not have milk.

It was delicious and I wondered if anyone had that receipe. It also had cheese.

Thank you for your time.

I have about 10 regular size carrots in my fridge, I figure I better use them before they aren't any good anymore. Any easy recipes that I can make? Not carrot cake, or like a roast. Hopefully something that just requires carrots nothing that much bigger.

I had this recipe and can't locate it. They are the best Sugar Cookie I have ever eaten!
Once the dough was made it had to be refrigerated overnight. Then it is taken out of fridge and you make balls about the size of reg. meatballs. When the cookie sheet is full of these balls, the bottom of a regular drinking glass is used to flatten them out. The bottom is first dipped in a bowl of sugar.
I have tried to find it on Net but no luck. I keep running into this word: Pepparkakor, but these are ginger snaps and that is not what the recipe was. It was Swedish Sugar Cookies.
Thanks to all and I will be ecstatic if anyone else has used this recipe and still has it!!

Hi all. I am desperately in need of 1 or 2 side dishes to make for Thanksgiving. So far we have 2 kinds of stuffing (one regular one with raisans) 2 types of potatoes (Pecan Crusted Yams and Regular Mashed Potatoes) and then I am making sauteed mushrooms and onions. Now what else can I make? I need another veggie dish that everyone will like. Other than just corn. And then something else. I am at a loss. This is the first time I am hosting it ever. I am 33 and my Husband and I just moved to a large townhouse where we will have room for this. It will just be 8 people so we don't need anything heavy or extreme or elaborate. My Mother suggested Cous Cous (we are jewish go figure) but I know my Husband (not jewish) will not eat that. He is your typical military guy meat and potatoes. So.... anyone have any ideas??? I was thinking about stringbeans in tomato sauce with almond slivers. But not sure. Help!!! If you have an idea, please also post recipe. Again, nothing elaborate. Simple. :)

In the infomercial it was a woman who created and a guy who's testing it. They have all kinds of recipes with it, like things to do with leftover mexican food and things to make with bisquick. It's a little mini grill that has two chambers you put pitas in or make little cakes. I cannot remember the name of it, but my husband and I have seen this infomercial soo many times and he loves this thing. I'm wondering if anyone knows what i'm talking a bout. I've looked online and can't find it.

Hello, My step father has been searching for a receipe for a potoato dish that his mother used to make.He knows that she used left over mashed potoaes and parsley. He also remembers that she used a knitting needle and added a small piece of mozzarella inside prior to frying them in a skillet. He said they were shaped sort of like lady fingers but smaller.Does anyone have a receipe for something similar to this.My dad is 76 years old and I'd like to make these for him for Christmas Eve....Thank you

How is it? Just those 2 things or can you add anything else? WARNING: ten points goes to the person who has a recipe that actually tastes good. Pranksters will only get 2 points. On your mark, set, go!
