going shopping mon or tues
I'm tired of buying the same boring foods
meal suggestions for breakfast lunch and dinner would be great.
also,
What do you usually forget to buy at the grocery store and remember half way home?

What are a few must have spices? I have the "usual" ones... about 12-16 containers.

My mother in law used to make these cookies that according to my husband and in laws were chocolate with nuts and raisins with a white/clear glaze on them. No one can find the recipe. My mother in law passed away when my husband was 14, almost 17 years ago. My father in law calls them pepper cookies but no one knows if there is actually pepper in them. My husband says they taste like Christmas, pepperminty chocolately, nutty, perfect.
I REALLY need to find this recipe! PLEASE HELP!

If this helps, my mother in law was English, my father in law is Italian. I think the recipe is from his side of the family, not sure. He's from Plains area of PA which I believe has a lot of German. Not sure if that makes a difference or helps at all!
THANKS!!

HELP! I just brought home an unbaked frozen pumpkin pie, but forgot the oven where I live doesn't go higher than 350 (damn landlord) but on box it says to bake at 375.
I put the pie in anyway, if I let it bake longer, might it work out to be edible? Or am I wasting my time?
No other ovens available for me to use.

1 Banoffee Pie:
Biscuit base, covered in rich creamy caramel, thickly sliced bananas, and whipped cream, chocolate shavings

2. Strawberry mousse cake:
Thin sponge base, topped with strawberry jam, then a fresh strawberry mousse, then a tangy gel with whole fresh strawberries to decorate with whipped cream

3. Rich chocolate sponge with a liquid centre of melting Swiss chocolate and Bailey's Irish liqueur - served with whipped cream
