A baked apple is pretty low in fat and calories, but high in sugar, which isn't the best for someone trying to watch their weight. Basically, you core an apple, then fill that hole (where the core was) with a little bit of butter or margarine and brown sugar and cinnamon. You can bake it, but I always microwaved it because it was much faster.
For simple cinnamon/brown sugar apples, cut up an apple into bite sized pieces, then, either on a stove top or in a microwave, heat with butter or margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon.
For an even healthier version (though apples are still loaded with [natural] sugar) slice up an apple and sprinkle cinnamon on it.

If you love the lean cuisine-why make it yourself? Anyway-either use a can of sliced apples, no sugar added or 2-3 raw apples peeled and sliced. Place in saute pan. Add a small can (6 oz.) apple juice, sprinkle with brown sugar splenda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer over medium heat about 5 minutes or until apples are soft.

Core an apple-peel if desired-cut into pieces if desired. Dot with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and bake at 300F for 20 minutes or until soft.
If you really want nonfattening skip all the steps and just eat the apple. Check the ingredient list on the lean cuisine link-HFCS, brown sugar syrup, all kinds of hydrogenated fats...the only reason it's low fat low calorie is because the portions are so minuscule.
