Depends on how and how long you defrosted the sausages. If they were left at room temperature for an extended length of time they may have gone bad. If you quickly defrosted a pack and left the remainder cold and returned to the freezer - no problem.
I'm assuming they were raw to begin with, if previously cooked, your time period for spoiling is longer.
A good sniff and knowledge of what you did when you originally defrosted them should go a long way in resolving your problem.
The consequences could be a great meal - or botulism. There are a lot of gastric consequences in between - from mild stomach discomfort to a trip to the emergency room. Don't take the risk if you know the food has spoiled. Just re-freezing won't hurt you if that's what happened.

As long as you defrosted them in the fridge, it's OK to eat them but as the others said, the more you freeze and re-freeze something, the less flavor - and the increase in freezerburn - which does taste nasty. when you go to cook them, if they smell "off" because of the freezer burn - toss them. You will know right away once you start heating them if they have been "burned". Bad smell vs the good smell of sausage. But you shouldn't have to worry about bugs or bacteria if it was refrigerated and not there for more than 2 days.

No, they aren't good anymore. Once you thaw something you can't freeze it again without cooking it. Consequences? I'd say stomach bug, food poisoning, parasites... but hey, it's your life right? Go on, eat it, live on the edge!
P.S
If they were already cooked to begin with then they're fine.

Don't eat it because it probably has a lot of bacteria/germs in it since they go on surfaces when they're warm, and since you froze it again, it freezes the germs on it. And if you eat it, you might get food poisoning, or get sick.

No, I would not advise you to eat it, because it would not taste good, and also would be poisonous.
So do not eat it
