What to have with shortbread?

any specific drinks that complement them or maybe some simple topping??

Tea is always good with shortbread. And you could serve some jam or top them with either a jam topping or some melted chocolate. Toasted almonds and almond paste would also be good on top of that shortbread.

tea is a natural, since that's what they'd drink in bonny old Scotland!
