I like the texture and shape of ziti better, but I want to mac and cheese to set up right. The recipe calls for 7 oz of elbow macaroni, will I need less ziti? thanks!!

I'm looking for a classic recipe of macaroni and cheese. All of recipes that I find include onion, garlic, paprika, thyme and bay leafs. I don't want recipes that include these seasonings. Also I don't care much for Velvetta cheese.

I'm cooking pasta at the moment but i don't have any sauce to go with it. So it's just plain..

i just had my wisdom teeth cut out today, so i can only eat soft foods. the problem is, im viet, so the only thing my mom knows how to make thats soft is viet rice pudding, and i dont wnat to live off of that for weeks

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 5 tablespoons milk
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 cup mashed bananas
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Take a simple cookie recipe Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda


Can someone tell me what each ingredients do in the recipe.
I know flour is the base. Peanut butter is for the flavor.
But what about the eggs or why two kinds of sugar. Or baking soda and baking powder
