It also depends on if your chicken is whole or cut into parts. I love throwing a bunch of assorted chicken parts in a roasting pan with potatoes and drizzling it with olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh oregano. 450 degree oven for 30 minutes and the potatoes are cooked, and the chicken crispy.

That depends on whether the chicken is boneless or not; as well as what part of the chicken it is. Dark meat cooks quicker than white meat. It also depends on how many pieces of chicken, how many potatoes and carrots & what size you cut them into.

You should add a little liquid in the bottom of the pan although this is not necessary especially if you cover it with foil.

You don't have to add water, this can make it bland. You can add a splash of orange juice, lemon juice, white wine, etc. It depends on what your tastes are and what spices you have already added.

A good rule of thumb is to cook it on 350 degrees and check it after 35 mintues. If you pierce it w/a fork in the fleshy part near the bone and the juices run clear, it's done. If it's boneless, it's done when the fork gives easily.

You may wanna put some seasoning on it. Mrs. Dash is great and it comes in all kinds of herb combinations. You can use it for almost everything! Real good in spaghetti too. I've never cooked chicken with water in it before, but I normally leave it in the over for about 45minutes-an hour on about 375, or until the chicken flakes up easily with a fork, and it's not bleeding. I might cover it with some foil though so it doesn't get all dried out. Use the leftover chicken and Mrs. Dash with some spaghetti sauce and noodles for chicken spaghetti! What's better than chicken and spaghetti?

Yes, add a little bit of water (1/2 cup) cover with aluminum foil & seal tightly. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes. What times is dinner? ~lol~
