Im trying to cook a meal and yes ive never done it before....so what does 2 quarts mean and what does it add up to???

4 cups is a quart, so that would be 8 cups of water...(measuring cups, not bathroom cups)

8 measuring Cups of water is 2 quarts. Just always try too remember that 4 cups is a quart. I can remember being a first time cook also and it can be a little confusing!! Good luck and I hope your food turns out great!!

A quart is a quarter of a Gallon. A gallon is 8 pints. so you need 4 pints of water 80 fl oz in the UK. Remember a US pint is 16 fl oz where the UK a pint is 20 fl oz.
