Bag says: 'You can fry after boiling dumplings into a pan until golden yellow bottom.'

How do I do this?

Just put butter in the pan and throw dumplings in on med-high heat?

Please answer- I want to eat this right now!

Thank You!

It was cooked with bacon, rosemary, chicken/leek/white wine broth, a bay leaf, and salt and pepper.

I could just slice the cold pork thin and use it in a salad of bitter greens with maybe some thinly sliced apple and walnuts--mustardy dressing. But my family is feeling tired of salad right now--I do serve salads a lot. Do you have another idea? A pasta or risotto, an elegant sandwich, or....? I'd be really grateful for any suggestions--thanks.

I want these dumplings to be more crispy after they are boiled and it it also suggested to do this.

Do I just but butter in a pan with the heat on medium-high and put the dumplings in to fry?

Or is there use of vegetable oil or something?

Honestly, I'm not sure how things are 'fried' in a pan and the directions on the bag doesn't help!

You'll be relieved to know I'm a STUDENT and I hardly ever cook.

What it says on the bag: 'You can fry after boiling dumplings into a pan until golden yellow bottom'

So how do I do this?!

Thanks sssso much, I'm STARVED!

Help!!! I suck at bbq-ing steak, tri-tip or any other cut of beef. I can't afford to (nor do I want to) go out to eat every time I want some red meat and the smell from neigborhood grills are driving me nuts with envy. I'm tired of preparing tastless slabs of leather. Any suggestions?

My recipes are in storage and I am trying to find the exact recipe where you use Baked Crescent Rolls, put a mixture of Cream Cheese & Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning on top of baked crescent roll and add your choice of veggies.

Primarily, I guess I'm not sure if it's 1 package HVR seasoning per how many oz. cream cheese and what are some of the more popular veggie toppings. Thank you

If you have tell me what you think. For those that don't know about boiled peanuts, would you also tell how they are cooked, so we all know? I never knew these existed until a few years ago when visiting Alabama. Thanks for your time in answering!

I wish to make a non baked cheesecake and have found a nice recipe, only it contains eggs, and in the recipe it simply tells me to refridgerate the cheesecake once prepared. Is that safe to eat once its fully set? I worry about eating raw eggs!

I'm making two things tonight for dinner and both require the oven. So I was going to double up and bake them at the same time. My casserole says to bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes and my vegetable recipe says to bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

I'm going to use the higher temperature for baking, but am not sure how much that will shorten the cook time for the recipe that calls for the lower temperature? Any ideas?

So last night at my husbands request, I made tater tot casserole. The recipe only calls for ground beef (I used turkey, it's healthier), tater tots, cream of mushroom soup, milk and shredded cheese. I substituted cream of chicken soup because IMO cream of mushroom is bland. I also seasoned my meat with both garlic and onion powder. It still came out pretty bland. My husband loved it but I need more flavor in my meals. Has anyone ever made this and spice it up somehow with some other flavors?
