I want these dumplings to be more crispy after they are boiled and it it also suggested to do this.

Do I just but butter in a pan with the heat on medium-high and put the dumplings in to fry?

Or is there use of vegetable oil or something?

Honestly, I'm not sure how things are 'fried' in a pan and the directions on the bag doesn't help!

You'll be relieved to know I'm a STUDENT and I hardly ever cook.

What it says on the bag: 'You can fry after boiling dumplings into a pan until golden yellow bottom'

So how do I do this?!

Thanks sssso much, I'm STARVED!

You'll probably like the flavor that butter adds more than vegetable oil, but you can use either or a combination. I'd put the heat on medium instead of medium high, but just add enough butter to lightly cover the entire bottom of the skillet when it's melted (1 to 2 Tbs.) then add your well drained dumplings and cook until golden - normally 3 to 4 minutes on first side and a little less on the second side. Turn with a spatula and crisp the other side. Then enjoy!

hey, i'm a student too so maybe i can help you out.

First put a tablespoon or two of vegetable oil in a frying pan, it doesn't burn as easily as butter. heat to medium and put the cooked dumplings in. leave for a few minutes (i'm not sure exactly how long, maybe 3 min just keep an eye on them) then turn over and leave for the same length of time.

it's not to hard, i'm sure you can do it. once you do it a few times you'll be a pro. good luck

Fry onions in a pan using olive oil and then add your boiled dumplings to make them golden.
