Drain completely (let dry on a clean dish towel to wick as much water away as possible) to a hot pan add 2 tablespoons oil or butter then add 3 or 4 dumplings at a time to the pan (use a spoon) then after about 30 seconds turn over gently and brown the other side (light golden brown is what you want) remove to a paper lined plate to drain oil and repeat until all dumplings are toasted. Get a clean plate and some dipping sauce and enjoy! Patience makes food taste better!

Make sure they are not dripping wet. You can add butter or olive oil into a pan and heat it up. After a few minutes throw the dumplings in. Check on by turning it slightly with a spatula. If it looks golden brown, then flip them all over and cook for another few minutes.

Butter will burn on med-high heat. Use regular cooking oil. Test the oil by putting a corner of a dumpling in; if it sizzles, it's hot enough.

Happy eating!
