My friends mom just passed away and I want to make him some food that's easy for him to heat up while he's dealing with the loss of his mom. If I make a tuna cassrole or a baked ziti do I put it together and freeze it or do I bake it first and then freeze it and once it's frozen, at what temperature would he use to reheat it? Thanks for all your help everyone...it's much appreciated.

It smelled so delicious that I couldn't help buying it, but now I don't know what to do with it. I'd love to turn it into ice cream (maybe strawberry/lemon and rosewater sorbet?), or make some kind of fragrant juice with it. I think it's used in Indian sweets, too. Has anyone cooked with it?

Can I use cocoa powder as a substitute if the recipe calls for baking bar? If so, what are the equivalents?

i have some strawberry sauce in the fridge that I need to do something with. I looked up TONS of wing recipes & noticed that some have fruit....like pineapple, raspberries & orange. Do you think I could do one with this strawberry sauce? And if so...what else should I add? If not wings...other suggestions would be appreciated too. (the sauce doesn't have any strawberries in it)

I had spicy hot links with barbecue sauce on rolls, homemade Ceasar salad, and for dessert I had vanilla cream cake with coffee ice cream. Feel free to share the recipes too, if you like! :)

I would like to make my own 'designer' sausages, the idea could be good as presents to family or friends.

The last 2 times I've baked cookies, they'e come out flat, as if the dough melted down around the chocolate chips. I don't get it!

I have baked chocolate chip cookies for years. I always use one stick of crisco instead of 2 cups of butter (the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip cookie recipe). My cookies have only come flat out of the oven once before when I accidentally used 1.25 cups of flour instead of 2.25.

The only other variable I haven't considerred is that I'm using a new faberware cookie sheet. I can't believe that would effect how much the cookies do or do not rise.

Does anyone have any clue why this would be happening?

I have a carton of eggs, and every egg so far has 2 yolks in it. at first i thought it was kind of weird and laughed to myself as i cooked the first one. Then one after another , every time i cracked an egg they all came out with 2 yolks. Is this very rare? Could this be a potentially hazardous sign of what is going on at the chicken farm shipping these eggs out? What is going on here?

we eat a lot of breads, pancakes, waffles, etc in this house and i always use the healthy heart bisquick. its enriched white flour though and i would like to move more towards whole grain. i am not a big fan of baking or cooking and would want a mix like bisquick that is already ready to baking. I dont want something with 15 ingredients! anything out there? all this flax and wheat germ stuff i highly doubt my kids would eat. thanks!
