I normally add chives and parsley as the herbs. I prefer Miracle Whip - but use mayo if you prefer. And then 1-2 Tbs. sweet pickle relish, 1 Tbs. lemon juice, and 1 tsp. sugar to a 6 oz. can of tuna. Then I add celery, green onions, peas and hard boiled eggs if I'm making tuna salad instead of sandwich filling.

Fresh dill or a little fresh basil would be nice. It depends on what your going for. Here are some suggestions: tuna mixed with mayo, salt, pepper and basil go really nice with italian bread and then you could top it off with roma tomatos and swiss cheese. Tuna mixed with a mayo, lemon pepper and dill would be excellent with 7 grain bread and a little cucumber. Have fun experimenting and enjoy!:)

I prefer a little chopped onion and celery makes it really fresh. Add a little salt and pepper, and for mild heat, crushed red pepper to taste and you have an easy way to make the sandwich without actually cooking. We do this when in a hurry, and it also makes a great dip!
