i'm always fasinated in having mushroom in big breakfast everytime when I have it in the restaurant. Ingredients such as black puddings, baked beans, hush brown are easy to cook. When it comes to mushroom, sadly I have tried to cook but no success yet. Anyone can tell me how to cook mushroom that tastes exactly like what it's like in the restaurant?

Our shortbread has a strange 'mouldy' taste, that could almost be described as tasteless.

As far as we are aware we used the correct ingredient proportions, although it only had about 75% of the correct cooking time and there is the possibility that the butter and sugar wasn't creamed properly. Could any of these things make it taste so strange?

Also, what is the 'correct' way to cream butter and sugar? Could inproper technique cause a bad taste?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions: we are distraught that our shortbread was not as tasty as Walkers!

know how when you go to a restaurant and order them and inside the shell there is ricotta and it has specks of green in it. What is the green? Is it oregano or basil or parsley?
Also how much (of whichever one it is) do I add?

I've always made them just plain but they look so pretty when drizzled or double dipped (milk choc and dark). Do you have any tips on how to drizzle? Just use a spoon? And as far as double dipping, do you just dip in the milk choc, let that harden then dip in the dark? Will the milk choc melt when I dip in the warm dark? Thanks!
