CUPCAKE DESIGN for 100 DAYS of school?

what are good ideas for frosting decorations for the top of cupcakes celebrating the 100th day of school??

If you don't really need 100, it would be pointless and a waste of time to make that many. I would say to make the number your class needs. Use 3 different colors for frosting. Say Red, White, and Blue. If you have say 25 kids in your class, frost 5 in red, 10 in white, and 10 in blue. Then display them by putting the red ones in a line from top to bottom, forming a number 1. Take the white and blue and make a circle out of each, forming the zero's. When you look down on it, it will look like the number 100. Hope this helps. Good luck!!

How about putting the cupcakes on a platter and make the 1-0-0 out of cupcakes themselves? Then top with some icing and some colorful sprinkles??

You could create fondant stars and use icing to put numbers onto them. You can use symbols of school, such as books, an apple, rulers, math type symbols and put those onto the cupcakes as well.

I'd go to the supermarket or craft store and see the different decorations you could get - colored sugars, edible paint, etc. and you'd definitely have some ideas to get you started. Hope that helps!
