Its my night to make dinner. I have hotdogs but no buns. :( Is there an easy tasty way to make corndogs preferrably bite size without skewers?

I have found many recipes but none without sticks sorry

Mini corndogs Recipe

Mini Corndogs

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Cornmeal
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
2 tablespoons Vegetable shortening
1 Egg -- beaten slightly
3/4 cup Milk
Oil
8 Frankfurters

PROCEDURE:
Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
With a pastry blender, cut vegetable shortening into flour mixture until there
are fine crumbs. Add egg and milk and blend well. Pour vegetable oil to a 2 inchdepth in a deep fryer or large saucepan. Heat to 375 degrees.
Pat frankfurter dry with paper towels. Insert a toothpick into the center of
each frankfurter. Dip each frankfurter into batter and then into hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper.

well it depends on what you have...
you can use a sweet corndbread mix for the batter it works awesome and it tasted great... just make sure to make it kind of thick...
and then... you just fry them! if you have a deep fryer that works best, but if not, just use a skillet...
have you ever heard of hotdogs in a blanket? you could always just wrap them in bisquits and put some cheese on top, its awesome!
