Where can I buy fresh (alive) Lobster, near to where I work in London (Trafalgar Square/Charing Cross).

I would like to be able to pick some up easily in the afternoon to take home to cook a meal for that special someone.

Also, a meal for two, let's say Thermidore, how heavy a lobster do I want for one good sized half each?

I pride myself on my Italian cooking. It's absolutely 'lip smackin' - don't want to put the fork down, pass the garlic bread to soak up the juice' GOOD... but - I don't have a clue about why there are so many different shapes to pasta. Can anyone enlighten me? Andiamo.

Everytime i search for this recipie and try it, it never goes great, especially the sauce. When i was at school in cooking we cooked the best macaroni cheese ive tried but i cant remember the recipe or how to do it but i know there were not any special ingredients, it was just basic. I dont want a recipie with the breadcrumbs on top i dont like that, i just want a basic recipe that works and tastes great. Thanks.

I have a pyrex container with a lid. What is the procedure for steaming? I have never done this before, I was just told it works better than boiling because it doesn't leech out the nutrients. How long should I expect common vegetables to take? Wha do you recommend I try?

At home we do this by cutting the ends and rubbing them preferrably with some salt sprinkled. But is there a better and quicker way that professionals use ?

I've been trying to perfect my fried rice for a few weeks now. No matter how I cook it, my rice is always clumpy, like sticky rice. It's not nicely separated from each grain like it should. Help?

I'm like an advanced beginner when it comes to cooking. I need ideas that are not too complicated, with prep time up to an hour (not counting baking time if applicable).

The facts:
My husband and I are both trying to lose weight.
I'm lactose intolerant, and I dislike most veggies.
I like salads, but not with onions/tomato.
My stomach gets upset when I eat some non-lactose things. I think I may be sensitive to tomatoes. (No meatloaf, tomato-based pasta sauce, cheese-less pizzas, bbq sauce...)

I hate to punish my husband for my weak stomach, so suggestions of things I can easily modify would be great- a non-tomato, non-milk, non-veggie alternative for me and one with all of the above for him without cooking two separate meals?

I can only take so much chicken salad!

I'm getting very discouraged about this cooking at home thing.

Recipes not necessary but welcome, mostly just need dish ideas. Need to pack his lunch for work, I eat lunch at home, and cook dinner for two.
