Grilled over wood or charcoal. Lightly salt with kosher salt on each side then cook over hot coals until rare. Only turn it once. Have a lettuce salad on the side and some sauteed mushrooms. Fresh asparagus, put on foil and add 2 Tbs BUTTER and one onion quartered, make a tent out of the foil over all and cook on the grill until tender. MMMMMMMMMMMMM! To drink, fresh lemon aid with a few fresh raspberries crushed into it. Don't add to much sugar, tart is good! For dessert, a small scoop of raspberry or rainbow sherbet!

I like mine medium rare.

The best way to cook a steak is in a red hot cast iron griddle pan.

It's the actual burning of the proteins on the outside of the steak that give it the flavour, which incidently is why you seal you meat before roasting, it has absolutely nothing to do with keeping in juices, they will get out whatever you do.

Depends on what kind it is..... A ribeye has to be medium to medium well for me to eat it.... a NY Strip, flank steak, or filet can can be medium rare to medium and I'm happy.
