This!
Shape the mince with some onion, mushrooms and finely chopped peppers into ball shapes.
Use a fairly large roasting tin and place them inside.
Pour in a tin or 2 of Oxtail soup.
Have some more peppers cut larger along with some button mushrooms as well as sliced mushrooms, and dump them in the soup as well.
Throw it (gently) into the oven for about 30-40 minutes (depending on your oven), until the mince is properly cooked and serve with some finely mashed potatoes.

Make blue cheese burgers - whizz mince in a blender until ground together with 2 finely chopped shallots a little salt and black pepper. If the mince is very lean you may need to add half a whisked egg to the mixture to bind. Make small patties, press onto one pate some blue cheese (danish blue works well) squash another pattie on top and either fry gently or brush with oil and grill. Serve with chunky chips or wedges and a fresh green salad.

Ground meat curry with Green peas
1 pound Ground Beef / Lamb can also be used
1 1/2 cups or 2 medium sized Onions, finely chopped
3/4th cup or 5 small Roma Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 cup Sweet Peas
1 teaspoon Ginger paste
2 teaspoons Garlic paste
1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
2 to 3 whole Cloves
1 to 3 Cardamom pods
1 Bay leaf
3 to 4 teaspoons Cumin powder
1 to 2 teaspoons Garam masala
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
1 teaspoon Red chili powder
4 to 5 tablespoons Oil
1/2 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4th cup Cilantro leaves, finely chopped
3 to 4 tablespoons Lemon juice
1. Heat the oil in a heavy pot on medium high, add the bay leaf, cardamom pods, cloves, cumin seeds and saute on medium high for a minute.
Quick Tip The hot oil tends to sputter when the ginger and garlic pastes are added. Please keep a splatter guard or screen handy.
2. Now add the ginger and garlic paste and saute till light brown. Add the onions and tomatoes and cook till golden brown and till the oil starts to separate. This will take 8 to 10 minutes.
3. Add the ground beef and mix well. Keep stirring, so as to break up all the lumps. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Now add the cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, half of the coriander leaves and saute well. Add the peas and milk and stir well.
5. Reduce the heat and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Add the salt. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice , mix well.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Jeera Rice.

5 cups cooked rice
1/2 lb minced beef/turkey/pork
1/3 cup diced onions
3 garlic cloves
1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
1 teaspoon all spice
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon seasoning salt or salt (more if desired)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2-3/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup diced red peppers (for colour) (optional)
Set cooked rice aside.
In a pot combine onions, chopped garlic, seasonings and mince and brown, try to keep the meat from forming large clumps, you want it taco meat in consistency, so keep stirring often.
Once its almost brown add drained can of chick peas and let meat brown.
When meat is browned drain any remaining fat from pan and add rice and stir until well blended.
Enjoy-- (variation to it can be to substitute chick peas for mixed can of mixed veggies).

Chop some onions, garlic and herbs together with a little olive oil, season with salt and freshly ground pepper, fold into the mince, and make really chunky burgers... cook by frying at high heat to seal in the flavour, then reduce the heat and continue to cook until the juices run clear. delicious

Tacos is a firm favorite with my lot (serve with sliced cheese, chopped tomatoes, sour cream and salsa) cook mince with peppers and onions and add taco spice to prevered heat
Home made burgers.... fry onions in butter, add seasoning and mix into raw mince. Add peppers, mushroom, tomatoes, bread crumps and grated potatoes as preferred then bind mixture together with and egg. Roll into balls, flatten and fry in pan.
Also try the following mince pakoras, found in my source below

Picadillo:
Picadillo is a traditional dish in many Latin American countries; it's made with ground meat, tomatoes, and regional ingredients. The Cuban version includes olives and is usually served with black beans and rice.
1/4 cup olive oil
1 large white onion, chopped
8 garlic cloves, minced
6 Turkish bay leaves
2 pounds ground beef (15 to 20 percent fat)
1 14 1/2-ounce can diced tomatoes in juice
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup sliced drained pimiento-stuffed green olives (from 5-ounce jar)
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic, and bay leaves; sauté until onion is soft, about 5 minutes. Add beef; sauté until cooked, breaking up with back of fork, about 7 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients. Simmer until picadillo thickens, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Discard bay leaves. Serve picadillo warm.
Makes 6 servings.

buy one of those tahita/mexican dishes that you add mince too. They are good for a change. Or Mousakka? Cottage pie.
