The recipe called for bark. I set it on the counter to cool and harden and just checked on it. It's still soft and very pliable. I'm suppose to break it into pieces. Did I use the wrong chocolate? Is there any hope?

When ppl bake carrots how do/would they cut them???

i'm cooking a roast for tea and my mum asked if i was roasting/baking the carrots or boiling them and i said roasting so i prepared some of the veggies and later she went to put some on the stove and said you don't bake carrots like this (i had cut them in sticks about 2 inches long) so she put them on to boil and i said ti her that i have baked them like that before.

Oh she shits me sometimes.

Ok, here's the deal. I have a 15 pound turkey thawing in a bowl of cool water... With good luck, I will cook it the day after tomorrow. With bad luck -which means if my mom suddenly changes the day of my family's dinner party- I will carve it tomorrow. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy a meat thermometer so...
1st question
How do you know if a turkey is done without a thermometer?
2nd question
Can you use ground beef for stuffing???
If so... how do you use it (do you cook it first????¨)

thnks 4 your help

Making a regular bean soup with cranberry, black, kidney and white beans, along with Italian sausage and smoked ham, with basic ingredients onions, carrots and probably thyme and garlic as seasonings...what would be a good bread, side dish or addition? I know some people put kale or some greens into the soup towards the ending to give added colour and texture.

Do they submerge the chicken or fish in olive oil before putting on the seasoning. Then, how do they prevent the blackened spice crust from falling off of the fillet's surface?
