I am looking for a good recipe for cheese fries with bacon and green onions. I tried to make them before and they didn't turn out so good. I cooked the fries a few minutes less then they recommended and then I added shredded cheese, already cooked and crumbled bacon and some scallions. Then I let it cook for 5 minutes. Now I have read that you should broil it after you add the toppings but I don't know how to do that. Do I just put it on a high temperature and move the oven rack up? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am trying to figure out how to make cheese fries and all the recipes say to add the toppings and broil for a few minutes. I have an electric oven but it doesn't have a broiler. I wasn't sure if I move the rack up to the top spot if that will work.
