Hi - I baked my cake, and noticed during the cooking that there was fat (butter) dripping down onto the bottom of the oven. When I took the cake out, the layers of paper were soaked in fat, and I scraped maybe 2 oz of butter off the inside of the oven. Have you heard of this happening before? Do you think it was the oven temperature? Or maybe I mis-weighed the butter & put in too much? Any thoughts please.

It weighs 18 pounds and is already fully cooked. How would be the best way to fix it? I got picked to bring the ham this year and I want it to taste good. Would a glaze make it better? Please give me some ideas. Thank you.

I'm looking for a sauce recipe that involves cream and dill that you thicken and then put it over perogies. All I can find is the easy way using different kinds of cream soups and that's not the good old fashioned way I remember them. It takes longer to make with cream, but it's worth it!

What kind of chocolate should I use to make chocolate covered pretzels? Is it best to buy baking chocolate or can I use Hershey's chocolate bars etc? Also, do you have any suggestions for festive designs for Christmas? I would like to make and decorate them for Xmas gifts.
