I'm looking for a sauce recipe that involves cream and dill that you thicken and then put it over perogies. All I can find is the easy way using different kinds of cream soups and that's not the good old fashioned way I remember them. It takes longer to make with cream, but it's worth it!

Here's a dill sauce recipe you might try...

"Dill Sauce" - 1 cup

2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. minced fresh dill or 1/2 tsp. dill weed
Dash nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup milk

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; blend in remaining ingredients (except milk). Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
