I am just curious did you start cooking and I'm talking about real cooking like casseroles, beef stews (homemade meals) that require a lot of preparation. I just want to know if there are young people out there that cook. Any age is fine.

Who taught you to cook?

i am having my grandma over for a few days and she loves porkchops..so i was thinking of doing them the "shake and bake" way=0) BUT they are usually pretty dry and slightly tough to chew when they are done baking...i usually use a cokkie sheet and some foil to cook... she cant chew tough meat so i was wondering if anyone had an ideas/recipes/secrets as to how to get them juicy and tender...thanks in advance!!!=0)

I'm just not good with pies. Just don't have the knack I suppose. I think I'd rather do sweets anyway. Then I love to sample them.
Then I'd love to have someone else clean up for me! That's the only part I don't like.

I want to bake homemade pumkin pie. The ingredients calls for 1-1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk or rich cream. Now I could only find evaporated milk on the store shelves and the only creamers I see on the shelves are whipping cream and half & half milk and creamers for the coffee. Please tell me what is undiluted evaporated milk and rich cream.

I have 10 pounds of breaded chicken tenders and am looking for something different to do with them besides just baking or frying them. Do you know of a recipe that includes breaded chicken tenders? Is there some interesting or fancy way I could fix them for a potluck dinner?

Hi everybody, I am a vegetarian (obviously) and I am curious as to why you eat 'meat', and why you feel it is 'okay' to eat farm-animals and not 'companion' friends. I am not looking to start a 'war' just curious.

There was a post about 'what tastes better, cat or dogs' and many people thought it was a sick question - WHY is this sick? Aren't animals just animals?

Looking for proper answers, and none of these 'smart-****' answers.

I baked a cake at 350'F and was supposed to bake it for an hour and a half. i took it out of the oven after an hour as the toothpick came out clean, and once it had cooled and i took it out of the tin, the bottom of the cake was almost burnt. lucky i had removed it from the oven!

what should i do to remove the crust that has formed at the bottom of the cake?
